Set within 123 acres of amazing grounds Pennyhill Park Hotel and Spa is a fantastic venue for a getaway weekend. This luxury country house hotel is located between Sunningdale, Ascot and Wentworth and is accompanied with the UK’s most amazing spa. All this and only 45 minutes away from the center of London.
The hotel offers everything from tennis to unrivaled five star spa breaks with excellent dining and service combined.
When it comes to staying the night I don’t think you’ll find a finer hotel to really enjoy yourself. Like the video says below you’ll be sure to notice the amazing bathrooms that seem to go on forever and ever.
You arrive to check in. Hotel staff welcome you in one of the finest reception areas around. With an open fire you know you’ve found somewhere special. Once taken to your room you spend a short while exploring just like we all would. Checking out what features you have and the details in the room. Suddenly the view catches your eyes from the window and you decide it’s time to explore the grounds (not before you take your swim wear with you).
A walk around the Garden Terrace and the grounds eventually lead you to the most amazing spa you’ll ever visit. Newly refurbished with an outside bar you decide it’s time to treat yourself to total relaxation. Maybe you fancy a few lengths in the inside pool or relaxing in the outside Canadian hot tubs. It’s an impressive spa that has a Ballroom Pool – 28°C TO 30°C, Canadian Hot Tubs - 36°C TO 38°C, Clarisonic, Herbal Saunas – 38°C TO 42°C, Hydrotherapy Pool – 26°C TO 38°C, Ice Cave, Laconiums – 32°C TO 34°C and Steam Rooms – 42°C TO 45°C.
No matter what you choose Pennyhill will make sure its a fantastic experience.
When you surface from the spa for dinner you’ll be amazed by the choice available to you. No matter how tempting it is don’t get room service (save that for the freshly made cookies delivered to your room later if you ask nicely). You can choose between the award winning Michelin starred restaurant The Latymer or something less formal in The Brasserie. No matter which you choose the food and staff are amazing. If you do visit the Brasserie I’d recommend the Trio of Lamb with a side of Dauphinoise potatoes.
After dinner why not retire to the Ascot bar and listen to the piano being played whilst you have a nightcap. It’s a fantastic way to finish the evening before retiring to your suite for the night.
